In the flashback, a young Sharon runs down a red-lit hallway wielding a large laser gun. Smoke is coming from the barrel of the gun. Behind her there is an explosion.
SHARON(NARRATION): After sabotaging the Storm Machine and getting a weapon, mommy found a way out.
Sharon runs into two guards blocking the doorway in front of her. They step up to halt her, but Sharon pulls the trigger, causing the gun to charge up as she runs at them.
